Positive Care and Supports works with you as an NDIS participant, to work alongside you to meet your goals, provide strategies and work from a person centred approach. You are at the centre of our journey. Positive Care and Supports has over 20years of knowledge in the disability field.

PC&S can assist you by providing therapeutic intervention from behaviour analysis, service coordination, and supports through direct care be that in home or in the community.

Supported Independent Living

PC&S reviews your NDIS plan with you, we will work out your budget, your supports and whether we can support you!

Providing you with options

Whether we come to you or we facilitate a safe space to meet with you, PC&S wants you to be comfortable and safe along the journey.

From your initial appointment to subsequent meetings and support, be it at home, a day programme, at the NDIS planning meeting, or via phone, PC&S will be with you.

Services

  • Support Coordination

    It all begins with an NDIS plan. Support coordination will assist link you to the services you need. This may include making direct referrals for Therapeutic services such as Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy as examples. Support coordinators will attend meetings and NDIS reviews to ensure a holistic and adequately funded plan.

  • Positive Behaviour Support

    Positive Behaviour Support is a form of applied behaviour analysis to understand what maintains challenging behaviour and how to change it. Strategies can be trialled and implemented to improve your quality of life, decrease risk to all involved with your care and increase your access to the community. Specialised Behaviour Intervention and Behaviour Management Planning is funded by the NDIA.

  • Direct Support - Daily Care

    Direct support can come from qualified and experienced Disability Support Workers who can deliver services to you either:

    • At your home

  • Community Access

    Supporting you into the community, places you want to go in a way that you feel supported.

  • Supported Independent Living

    Supported independent living is one type of support to help you live in your home. It includes help or supervision with daily tasks, like personal care or cooking meals. It helps you live as independently as possible, while building your skills. Supported independent living is for people with higher support needs, who need some level of help at home all the time. Supported independent living is best suited to people with a disability who have higher support needs. This means you need a significant amount of help throughout the day, 7 days a week. This includes overnight support.

  • Short Term Accommodation (Respite)

    Living independently. ​Short term accommodation (STA), including respite care, allows NDIS participants and their carers to have a break and change of scenery.

Ray Stacey B.Sc

  • Ray Stacey is a strong advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves. He knows there is much to be done to improve the outcomes for people with a disability.

    Ray has extensive experience working as a Therapeutic Support worker in services that include Child and Adolescent Mental Health Units, Children’s Respite, Adult Supported Accommodation, Day Programs, and Individualised Support Programs.

    Additionally, Ray has management experience in areas that include Supported Accommodations, Service Delivery Management, and programs ranging from Autism (both adult and child) Accommodations, Complex Psychosocial Accommodations, Out-of-Home Care and Voluntary Out-of-Home Care Accommodations, and Complex Chronic-Health Disability Accommodations.

    Ray holds a B.Sc in Psychology from the University of Plymouth and a P.Gr. Certificate in Positive Behaviour Intervention from UQ College.

I am new to the NDIS, can you help me navigate my plan?

PC&S are committed to helping you understand your plan. The NDIS can be scary and confusing. There are a number of ways that PC&S can provide you with the information you need to make the most of your plan.

Which participants can you support?

PC&S is looking to support participants with an NDIS plan from 9+. All referrals will be assessed transparently and honestly, and if PC&S are unable to help, we will try to source and recommend alternative services. However, PC&S is confident that you can be supported!
